Program requirements

  • Program: Maryland Medicaid doula services
  • Referral or recommendation: Use diagnosis Z32.2 on all services and verify the member is pregnant or within 180 days postpartum.
  • Registry or provider setup: Enroll in ePREP as provider type DL with the required NPI path, Maryland-approved certification, background check, and liability insurance.
  • Payer path: ePREP / FFS Medicaid and HealthChoice MCO pathways
