Delete your DoulaPaid account
You can request deletion of your DoulaPaid account and associated personal data at any time, from inside the app or without signing in.
How to request deletion
From inside the app: sign in, open Settings, and use the Delete account section to submit a deletion request. You can cancel the request from the same place until processing completes.
Without signing in: email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject line “Account deletion request”. We verify the request against the account email before processing.
What is deleted
Deletion removes your account credentials, profile details (name, email, role), session history, and any personal data tied solely to your user account.
Billing and claim records owned by your organization (for example, client intake, visit documentation, and claim packets created for a doula collective) belong to the organization workspace, not the individual user. If you are the only member of your organization, the organization workspace and its records are deleted with your account. If other members remain, organization records stay with the organization and your personal identifiers are removed from your user account.
What may be retained
We may retain minimal records where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal and recordkeeping obligations: security audit log entries (which never contain client names, dates of birth, Apple Health IDs, or visit notes) and records we are legally required to keep. Retained records are kept only as long as those obligations require.
Timeline
Deletion requests are confirmed by email and completed within 30 days. Backups containing deleted data expire on their normal rotation schedule after the primary records are removed.
